Dental Hygiene

Did you know more than 30% of people suffer from Gum Disease? This can lead to heart disease as well as other medical conditions.

The lack of good dental hygiene causes a build-up of plaque and tartar which have bacteria, causing Gingivitis – the inflammation of gums. It is very important to see a hygienist regularly for cleaning to prevent this disease. Usually, it is enough to visit twice a year, but sometimes for patients with more advanced diseases, it can be advised to come every 3 to 4 months.

Everything is in the prevention. If you spend time for your mouth health at home along with having regular Dental Hygiene visits – you will keep your teeth for the rest of your life!
