What is endodontics?

Endodontics refers to the area of dentistry related specifically to the interior of the tooth. This is most commonly referred to as the ‘dental pulp’.

Can all dentists perform endodontic treatments?

No. Endodontists must undergo further training in order to be able to perform these specialised treatments. This training takes several years and not all dental practices are able to offer endodontic treatments.

Do you have a specialist endodontist?

Yes, we do. We’re very proud of the comprehensive list of treatments we’re able to offer our valued patients here in Dulwich, which means we rarely have to refer out of practice.

Which endodontic treatments do you provide?

We provide treatment for root canals, including more complex treatments such as root canal treatments and root canal after trauma. We can also offer removal of fractured teeth.
